Pallavi’s absolute cracker of a wedding ft Michael.
While I've known Pallavi for around a decade now, you can't really say we're friends.
We've never hung out, never shared memes or a bucket of ice cream.
But she's quietly supported my work and sent every friend of her's my way, for years now and that means the world to me.
So when she reached out for her own wedding, I was more than thrilled and under a lot of pressure to deliver.
But 30 minutes in, the pressure vanished and I found myself genuinely enjoying a wedding (which doesn’t happen a lot).
While it was an absolute joy to watch these two weep, cackle and be nauseatingly in love, my favourite moments were of Michael's parents being utterly and stupidly in love like they're 18.


It made me think of a particular line from ‘The Office’ where Pam goes, "When you're a kid, you assume your parents are soul mates. My kids are gonna be right about that."
